A charming symbol of the Nouvelle Athènes quarter, the Musée de la Vie Romantique (Museum of Romantic Life) has planned a very attractive programme for the 19th edition of the European Night of Museums. In addition to being able to browse the galleries of the museum, you’ll be able to attend two concerts there, including a concert-reading dedicated to George Sand. Not far from there, the Musée de la Franc-maçonnerie (Museum of Freemasonry) invites you to discover its collections for free. These shine a light on more than 250 years of the history of this secret and mysterious organisation which fights for secularism, tolerance and solidarity.

The Night of Museums is an opportunity to discover lesser-known places for free. Why not visit Citéco, about twenty minutes by public transport from the Hotel Les Plumes? The Cité de l'Economie invites you to discover the various aspects of the social science of economics in a fun way. It will also offer you a superb show combining music, theatre and history, entitled Living Museum, Vibrant Music. Finally, our team also recommends the concerts and drawing workshops at the Petit Palais. In this fascinating setting, situated between the Seine and the Champs-Élysées, you can admire the collections and stroll through the gardens before attending the events.
