Perhaps the most fascinating and challenging is a three hour watch initiation workshop hosted by the Foundation of Haute Horologerie, in which you are invited to dismantle and rebuild a simple mechanical movement. This is a great chance to don the traditional magnifying loupe and see if you have the skill, sharp eye and steady hand required to perform the watchmaker’s art.
