The Festival of Gastronomy
Given the prominence of gastronomy in France, it is not surprising that an event that pays homage to the culinary arts and its chefs and innovators has been organised. For almost 5 years now, the French gastronomic meal has been a UNESCO cultural heritage feature, and this sparked the creation of the Festival of Gastronomy. Its 4th edition from 26th to 28th September 2014 attracted almost 2 million visitors and 280, 000 professionals participated in over 9,200 events in France including 41 banquets, picnics and events, and featuring 51, 232 initiatives from overseas.
You can now register for the next edition of this national event, and it will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September 2015. Culinary delights are guaranteed regardless of where you are in France.
